R00027870***Come Innovate Motion with Us****We’re looking for a **Process Engineer – Software** to design, develop, and optimize automation and test systems that power our production lines. In this role, you’ll combine your programming expertise with hands-on engineering to build smarter, faster, and more reliable systems.***Your responsibilities will be to:*** Contribute to our ambitious goal of fully automating our factory, and help pave the way for the future of manufacturing innovation* Design, develop, and improve programs for advanced automation and testing systems with a focus on performance and reliability* Write, modify and optimize software for Beckhoff PLCs and LabVIEW testing stations* Perform in depth data analysis using SQL, Grafana and PowerBI* Create electrical and pneumatic layout schematics and create material lists in accordance with stock, delivery times and internal standards* Ensure documentation is current and accessible, including user manuals and error-handling protocols, to facilitate smooth operation and knowledge transfer* Conduct training sessions to equip operators, shift leaders and maintenance technicians with the skills to efficiently operate and manage machinery* Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and continuous improvement, contributing to a leaner, more cost-effective production environment**Our requirements:*** B.S. or M.S. degree in HES/EPF or in another related field* Ideally 5 to 10 years of experience with automated assembly and manufacturing machines for high volume production* Knowledge and experience in working with different software packages (e.g. PLCs, LabVIEW, Python)* In depth knowledge of electrical and control technology as well as basic knowledge of quality control processes* Fluent in English and good knowledge of either French or German* Capable of working as a part of the team as well as working independently* Flexible for occasional travel**What do we offer:*** A truly international and multicultural work environment* The opportunity to further develop your professional skills in a diverse and engaging job***Come join our global, inclusive & diverse team***Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
