The role manages international suppliers, drives operational procurement and planning, and optimizes inventory levels. Additionally, this position leads process improvements, supports sourcing activities, and provides guidance to global planning colleagues. /p pLocation: Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia /p pWorking hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Malaysia Time (to support Europe region) /p h3Essential Duties And Responsibilities /h3 h3Material Planning Procurement /h3 ul liRun Distribution Requirement Planning process on its perimeter. /li liDefine and update stock parameters to achieve service level objectives while optimizing inventory level. /li liManage the purchase order portfolio, analyze stock discrepancies and perform adjustments. /li liResponsible for material replenishment (raw material, components and/or finished goods). /li liUse MRP (right balance of resource vs demand) to ensure stock availability on time at right place. /li liCollaborate with Upstream and Downstream Planning Leader and Supply and Inventory Planner. /li liExecute material planning and operational procurement for assigned commodities. /li liEnsure material availability through daily follow‑up, expediting, backlog recovery, and shortage management. /li liCreate demand forecasts and maintain accurate delivery dates and confirmations in SAP. /li liMonitor and optimize inventory levels, avoiding excess and obsolescence. /li liSupport preparation of RFQs, frame contracts, and logistic agreements. /li /ul h3Supplier Management /h3 ul liCollaborate with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and resolve supply issues. /li liBuild strong supplier relationships and support tactical escalations when needed. /li liHandle supplier quality issues and coordinate returns. /li liProvide inputs for supplier performance ratings. /li /ul h3Master Data, Reporting Improvement /h3 ul liMaintain and optimize SAP material master data and planning parameters. /li liGenerate reports on inventory, procurement activities, and shortages. /li liCheck customs assessments and supplier invoices. /li /ul h3Knowledge And Skills – Required /h3 ul liMinimum 5 years of experience in material planning or similar supply chain role. /li liEducation in Procurement/Supply Chain Management is an advantage. /li liStrong knowledge of inventory management and ERP systems (SAP R/3; S/4HANA is a plus). /li liProficient in MS Excel and technically adept (BOMs, specifications). /li liFluent in English. /li liStrong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. /li liConfident in supplier management, escalations, and cross‑functional alignment. /li liExperience in an ETO production environment. /li liProactive, hands‑on, and solution‑oriented mindset with strong accountability. /li /ul h3PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES /h3 pProactive, flexible, accurate, reliable, communicative, autonomous, team player, service‑based, responsible, assertiveness, exemplary. /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liEntry level with advanced education to 3 years experience but may have some general working experience or obtained broad knowledge through extensive work experience in relevant role(s) plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw materials requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse and production. May use Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
