Responsibilities
* Lead trading and IT teams for 24/7 market presence across CH, FR and DE.
* Define trading strategies to optimize P&L and manage production and consumption portfolios (hydropower, solar, thermal energy).
* Oversee transition to automated trading and develop decision support tools for short‑term markets.
* Lead automation and predictive modeling projects (machine learning) to optimise portfolio management.
* Co‑ordinate information flows between long‑term trading, market analysis, dispatching, product management, risk management and external partners.
* Ensure compliance with financial risk limits and the resilience of the IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
* University degree (FH/ETH/Uni) in a relevant field.
* Proven experience in energy markets and in optimisation of production and consumption portfolios.
* Experience leading development and modelling projects with automation expertise.
* Leadership skills for cross‑functional teams and projects together with a culture of continuous improvement.
* Decisiveness under real‑time conditions and high‑stress resistance.
* Strategic thinking, strong analytical and negotiation skills.
* Very good knowledge of one national language (FR or DE) plus excellent communication skills in the other national language and English.
* Home office possible up to one day per week.
