We are looking for a motivated and ambitious technical buyer and production planner to support and further develop our company in this area. Ideally, we are seeking someone with prior experience in the watch industry and some expertise in watch parts.
We are seeking someone with a strong background in the watchmaking industry and some knowledge of watch components.
Responsibility:
* Ensure a smooth ordering process from start to finish (monitoring stock levels, delivery dates, quality, and costs)
* Update internal databases with order details (dates, suppliers, quantities, discounts)
* Maintain and support our strong supplier network by conducting on-site supplier visits throughout Switzerland
* Manage the interfaces between suppliers, accounting, and production
* Research potential suppliers and evaluate existing ones
* Conduct market research to identify trends
* Develop and ensure the complete production planning for the entire watch collection
* Equip our watchmaking workshop with the necessary components
* Prepare cost analyses
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Professional experience as a technical buyer or in a similar role
* Good understanding of the supply chain
* Practical experience with ERP software
* Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite
* Strong organizational skills in logistics and planning
* Excellent English skills; French and German skills are an advantage
* Entrepreneurial mindset and Hands-on mentality
* Good communication skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor
