Become part of our great team as a... /p pbTechnician Advanced Technology – Rapid Prototyping Lab Support /b /p pTo strengthen our Advanced Technology Department at Datwyler, we are looking for a hands-on Technician who will support our team in innovative projects such as rapid prototyping, novel welding and printing methods. /p pbResponsibilities /b /p liSupport innovative RD and Advanced Technology projects (rapid prototyping, novel welding and printing methods) /li liOperate 3D printers (start jobs, monitor prints, do basic troubleshooting) /li liClean and post-process printed parts (washing, curing, finishing, visual inspection) /li liMonitor stock levels and order resins and other consumables in time /li liPrepare and run moulding trials, including inserts and tool preparation /li liPrepare rubber and other materials for trials ( cutting into strips/straps) /li liPrepare parts and samples for overmoulding and further testing (cutting, labelling, etc.) /li liDocument process and its parameters and test results in a structured way /li liOperate relevant machines (printing, moulding, welding, etc.) /li liSupport setting and adjusting process parameters together with engineers /li liCarry out test series to optimise processes ( welding of bipolar plates, prototyping routes) /li liOrganize and coordinate prototyping trials with the prototyping department and production /li liEnsure parts and samples are ready on time for project milestones /li pbProfile /b /p liCompleted technical education ( lab technician, polymechanic, production technician, materials technician) or equivalent practical experience. /li liExperience in and rubber and/or polymer molding /li liExperience in a lab, prototyping, production or workshop environment is an advantage. /li liIdeally, first exposure to 3D printing, polymer welding or similar manufacturing processes – or strong motivation to learn. /li liBasic knowledge of MS Excel and willingness to keep structured records. /li liCurious, proactive and eager to learn how to operate complex machines and understand process parameters. /li liTeam player, able to collaborate with different functions (RD, production, quality, etc.). /li liGood communication skills in English; German is an advantage /li pbWe Offer /b /p liAn exciting role at the interface of innovation, prototyping and production within Datwyler. /li liThe opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies and contribute to future solutions for our customers. /li liA collaborative, interdisciplinary Advanced Technology team with room to learn and grow. /li liModern lab infrastructure and the chance to have a direct impact on projects, processes and products. /li pbReady to start? /bJulia Mathis (HR Business Partner) and the recruiting team are looking forward to get to know you and are available for further questions by email () or by phone ( ). /p pbBe yourself at Datwyler /b /p pWe are convinced that people make the difference.
