Tasks:
Supporting the operation and further development of our newly installed screening laboratory and active involvement in the Biocore platform
Applying biophysical methods (biophysics) to analyze, characterize, and optimize small molecules (small molecule engineering) and their ligand interactions
Conducting experiments, measurement series, and troubleshooting on the machine in close collaboration with the research team
Documenting, evaluating, and presenting results in a scientific and technical context
Ensuring quality standards, smooth laboratory processes, and continuous improvement of methodology
Requirements:
4–5 years of current professional experience with biophysical methods (e.g. SPR, MST, ITC, or comparable methods, preferably with Biocore systems)
In-depth knowledge of working with small molecules and practical experience in small molecule engineering and the analysis of ligand binding
Experience working in modern screening or research laboratories and routine technical troubleshooting of laboratory equipment
Independent, structured, and reliable way of working with high quality standards
Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills in interdisciplinary projects
