Position
As an HR Operations, you support the Local HR Managers and HR Business Partners in the professional management of employee life cycle activities for our site in Thalwil. You contribute to a positive employee experience by ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely execution of administrative and operational HR processes. You are a key point of contact for employees for HR-related topics and support the local implementation of global HR initiatives and processes. You work closely with the HR Managers/Business Partners and collaborate with the global HR Team to ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient HR operations.
Location: Thalwil, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and recruiting support to employees and managers throughout the employee life cycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding)
Support payroll for different European countries in close collaboration with the payroll provider, Local HR Managers and Finance
Support the implementation of local and global HR initiatives, processes, and policies
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant data entry and maintenance in HR systems and personnel files
Assist or drive organization of local trainings, onboarding sessions, and team events
Act as a reliable interface between employees, managers, and the People Team
Skills & Competencies
2–3 years experience in a similar HR administrative role
Completed further education in HR (e.g., HR Assistant, Sachbearbeiter:in Personalwesen or equivalent) or comparable practical experience
Experience or strong interest in HR administration and HR operations (employee life cycle administration, data management and data quality, recruitment support, labor law, social insurance) and comfortable working with HR systems and Excel
Works independently and reliably; demonstrates empathy, discretion, and dedication to providing an excellent employee experience
Curious, open-minded, and interested in HR best practices to proactively support continuous improvement of processes and ways of working
Fluent in English and German (both working languages); additional national languages are an advantage
Has authorization to work in Switzerland
