Network Security Architect
Location: Switzerland

Operating in over 90 countries, it's focusing on technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud services, and more.
Technical Support for Architecture
• Network Design – Design of new network infrastructures, especially in data center environments, that meet BIT-DP requirements, including network management systems.
• Requirements Analysis – Determining business requirements and technical specifications to develop the appropriate network architecture.
• Technology Recommendation – Selection of suitable hardware and software, including firewalls, VPN gateways, and other security elements.
• Security Concept – Development of security policies and measures to protect networks from threats and attacks.
• Documentation – Creation and maintenance of network documentation (solution and system architectures), including technical layouts, configurations, and policies.
• Implementation – Monitoring and support during the implementation of network solutions and technologies.
• Performance Monitoring – Monitoring network performance and availability to ensure efficient and reliable system operation.
• Troubleshooting – Identifying and resolving network problems and malfunctions. Automating processes and conducting interface and regression tests.
• Implementing architecture according to the PI plan within the specified timeframe.
• Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure the network infrastructure is compatible with other systems and applications.

• Training IT staff and end users on network protocols, technologies, and security.
• Analyzing trends and emerging technologies to anticipate future network needs and make appropriate adjustments.
• Contributing to budget planning for network projects and investments.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing the company's global network security structures to ensure interoperability, performance, and security
- Defining architecture guidelines and implementing service monitoring across all platforms to ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for critical network security systems
- Forecasting network security threats and developing and modeling countermeasures. This includes analyzing attack scenarios within the network environment
- Centrally coordinating numerous complex IT network security initiatives, as well as those across multiple locations, to develop appropriately scalable security structures - Evaluating new technologies and platforms to determine their applicability to business requirements
- Creating foundational documents such as security concepts and system architecture documentation in accordance with Hermes standards
Work Location
This requires work at customer premises in Bern (main), Dübendorf.
Remote work is not possible.
Prerequisites
• German language B2 level
Certifications
• Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) or
• Check Point Certified Security Master (CCSM) or
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or proof of equivalent certification
