This role involves acting as the lead EHS contact for our site and providing expert support to other locations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing EHS strategies to ensure operational excellence, leading a team of EHS professionals, and representing EHS at senior leadership level.
We are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Safety, or a related technical field. The ideal candidate will have extensive EHS leadership experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry and a deep knowledge of process safety, explosion protection, and industrial risk management.
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding teams, engaging partners, and inspiring change in a matrixed organization. A strategic, analytical approach and strong communication skills are essential. Proficiency in English is required; German is a strong asset.
