Overview
Business Analyst - Trading vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks
* Analyse and document end-to-end interface requirements between the trading and core banking systems.
* Define data mappings, transformation rules, and message specifications to support automated trade and cash flow processing.
* Collaborate with developers and solution architects to ensure accurate and timely implementation of system interfaces.
* Produce high-quality functional documentation, including business requirement documents, field definitions, and user stories.
* Support the planning and execution of testing (SIT / UAT), including test case preparation and defect triage.
* Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and technical walkthroughs to ensure alignment with programme objectives.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to validate assumptions and manage dependencies impacting interface delivery.
Your experience / knowledge
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst on system integration or banking technology projects.
* Strong understanding of trading systems and post-trade workflows, particularly in securities finance, including lending and borrowing, and repo.
* Experience with data mapping, message structuring, and working with APIs or message queues.
* Demonstrable ability to write clear, structured documentation for technical and business audiences.
* Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technology and business domains.
* Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a delivery-focused role.
