To continue the successful journey ELCA seeks to temporarily strengthen its overall organization and expertise in strategic marketing. The Strategic Marketing Interns will report directly to the CMO and support him in this year's strategic planning process for the Group or assess business opportunities the Group has. Given the importance of this process, aggressive growth plans and the dynamic environment, the ideal candidate should be able to hit the ground running and be able to cope with a steep learning curve. A good understanding of the IT sector, strategic planning and marketing strategy is an important asset.
Role
* Market analysis: Estimate demand (market size), supply (capacity) and determine their likely evolution. Identify segments, ecosystems and determine the shares of the competitors in these markets, identify industry trends, estimate addressable market
* Benchmarking: Identify main competitors, analyse, and compare their positioning, offering, customer portfolio, financial performance
* Develop and describe business plans, options and scenarios.
Responsibilities
* Independently analyses the relevant market for ELCA and synthesizes results in high-quality slides
* Identifies 10 to 20 most important competitors of ELCA, analyzes them and develops competitor profiles
* Compares competitors, derives their strengths and weaknesses and describes ELCA's opportunities and threats
* Identifies most important industry trends and derives implications for ELCA
* Coordinates work with other workstreams, e.g., finance
* Ensures reception of contributions from other work streams
