 
        
        Role Description
The Investment Banking Analyst plays a key role in supporting deal execution, financial analysis, and client advisory services. This role involves conducting valuation modeling, preparing pitch materials, analyzing market data, and assisting in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and other strategic transactions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and driven, with a strong foundation in corporate finance, accounting, and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities
 * Support the execution of M&A, equity, and debt financing transactions through financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation analysis.
 * Conduct company, industry, and market research to identify trends, growth opportunities, and potential transaction targets.
 * Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
 * Prepare presentation materials, pitch books, and client deliverables for senior bankers and client meetings.
 * Analyze financial statements to evaluate company performance, profitability, and capital structure.
 * Assist in the preparation of transaction documentation, such as offering memoranda and management presentations.
 * Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, legal advisors, and consultants, during deal execution.
 * Support due diligence efforts by compiling and reviewing data, financial reports, and business analyses.
 * Monitor financial markets, valuation trends, and relevant regulatory developments.
 * Contribute to client relationship management through research, responsiveness, and professional communication.
 * Maintain internal databases and ensure the accuracy of financial and industry information.
 * Provide administrative and analytical support to senior team members throughout all phases of transactions.
Qualifications
 * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is advantageous.
 * 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or related financial roles (internships may be considered for entry-level candidates).
 * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; advanced financial modeling and valuation skills required.
 * Solid understanding of accounting principles, capital markets, and financial instruments.
 * Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
 * Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
 * High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work under pressure.
 * Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 * Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and commitment to confidentiality.
 * Knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or Refinitiv is a plus.
 * Desire to build a career in investment banking with a strong interest in corporate transactions and strategic advisory.
