The University of Neuchâtel is offering a position for an HR Specialist to be filled within the Human Resources Service of the University of Neuchâtel. Activities In this role, your mission is to manage, in particular, the HR processes and procedures related to residence and, if necessary, the associated social insurance, especially for those funded by third-party funds, while ensuring legal compliance. You play a key role in supporting managers and staff members on various HR matters, actively contributing to the management of human resources at UniNE. In your role, you carry out constant monitoring of developments in the field, revising and developing existing processes. You may be required to manage specific topics, implementing tailored solutions to the challenges encountered in the academic field. You are also expected to participate in and/or manage parallel projects, oversee a faculty sub-unit, and contribute to the smooth operation of the pool of managers. You ensure a good collaboration in recruitment. To fulfill these missions, you hold a higher education degree relevant to the position and/or you have a federal diploma in human resources or social insurance (or equivalent). You have several years of experience in a similar role. You have an excellent grasp of laws and provisions regarding social insurance as well as a good knowledge of absence management and payroll software (SAP HR / Success Factors). Committed and equipped with solid technical skills, you are also recognized for your qualities: listening, effective communication (oral and written), and the ability to advise professionally and with kindness. You are capable of working independently while collaborating with a team of specialists and possess a rigorous sense of organization.
