Your Role and Responsibilities
The Head of Brand takes charge of defining, maintaining, and protecting the ABB Robotics brand to align with the business strategy and organizational goals, while guiding the creation and introduction of a new brand identity following the SoftBank acquisition. Reporting to the ABB Robotics Global Head of Communications, the role is a member of the Robotics Communications Central Leadership Team.
* Provide leadership and best practices in brand management; set brand policy, governance, and guidelines across ABB Robotics.
* Monitor brand position, provide insights for strategic moves, and manage brand architecture and IPs including lighthouse solutions and products.
* Provide brand assets, concepts, and tools for the business to ensure coherent and efficient implementation.
* Identify, manage, and execute major brand‑building and awareness campaigns at a global level.
* Oversee and facilitate brand awareness campaigns worldwide.
* Collaborate with HR to define the ABB employer brand and employee value proposition.
* Lead and develop a team of communications specialists and contribute to the broader communications function across all of ABB Robotics.
* Build an effective network across the ABB Robotics Communications community to enable alignment and transfer of best practices.
* Work with business leaders and ABB Robotics Communications teams to ensure communication excellence, relevance, and consistency across internal and external messages and all channels in support of the brand.
Qualifications for the Role
* Experienced brand professional with a minimum of 15 years in an established brand agency or large international B2B industrial technology company.
* Proficient strategic skills and ability to build a brand roadmap following a separation or acquisition; demonstrated skill interacting with senior stakeholders in a complex environment.
* Experience aligning brand with business strategy and motivated by contributing to and building company growth.
* Collaborative worker with effective interpersonal skills.
* Focused on finding effective solutions, well‑organized, and consistently meets deadlines.
* Driven to improve processes and contribute effectively.
* Multi‑cultural and multi‑dimensional to support international strategic processes and teams.
* Collaborative individual who values teamwork.
* Demonstrates a commitment to ethical principles and maintains a high level of integrity.
