Position Summary As an IP Paralegal, you will assist Senior Legal Counsel(s) IP responsible for the trademark portfolio(s) and drive IP projects independently. A Day in the Life of an IP Paralegal leading a Trademark / Design portfolio Conduct trademark availability searches (online screen searches and full availability searches) and analyse the results and make a recommendation to the responsible Counsel(s)Supervise trademark and industrial design registration process from filing to grant including office actions for specific Business Unit(s), setting up of protection strategy following the business roll-out plansWatch and analyse publication of competitive trademarks and file respective oppositions if necessary.Assist in negotiations, undertakings, co-existence agreements, etc. as well as draft moderately complex legal issues and reports Deal with online infringementsAssist the IP Counsel(s) in litigation activitiesUndertake or assist with projects involving legal research and information (trademark laws, jurisprudence, best practices, taskforce) What will make you successful Solid experience in trademark field within an international environment or alternatively a law firmDigital literate utilizing online platforms, marketplaces, AI tools and IP Management system; keen in adopting new technologies.Excellent planning and organizational skills, including the ability to successfully handle competing prioritiesFlexible, proactive, team player, willing to take initiatives and manage projectsExtremely accurate and high attention to detailCurious and agile with ability to work autonomouslyExcellent command of written and spoken English a must.
