The remuneration is set at 45 USD per hour.
Department: Revision Village. Role: Tutor. Locations: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Melbourne, Singapore, Hong Kong, Middle East, London, and fully remote.
Responsibilities
* Working closely with a variety of students based across the world – including the US, Asia, Australia, and Europe (within a time zone appropriate for you)
* Conducting tutoring sessions with students on a frequent ongoing basis
* Using IBDP Chemistry curriculum knowledge to deliver high-quality academic tutoring to Revision Village students in a particular subject
* Preparing students for upcoming examinations and strengthening base concepts in order to improve performance
* Maintaining reasonable levels of communication with students outside of formal sessions
Qualifications
* You are a qualified teacher and have 2+ years of experience classroom teaching the IB Chemistry curriculum (essential)
* You have examining and/or workshop-leading experience in your subject
* You have at least 4 hours of availability to tutor each week (more preferred)
* You’re passionate about education and enjoy teaching – ideally, you’ve even got some experience tutoring students already!
* You’re detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
