Your Tasks
Work on NCCR Muoniverse sub-project F4: “Hunting for rare muon observables”.
Advance the theoretical framework for rare muon observables.
Write PhD thesis in theoretical particle physics.
Support teaching activities generally at the institution of the thesis advisor.
Fulfill requirements of the University of Zurich graduate school in physics.
Your Profile
Master’s degree in physics.
Physics background in theoretical particle physics.
Good analytical and programming skills (computer algebra and numerical methods).
Interest in connecting ideas and people across disciplines, with a commitment to fostering open, cooperative, and knowledge-sharing research cultures.
Ability to work effectively in collaborative and international research environments and contribute to interdisciplinary teamwork.
Fluent in English.
