As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager Process Safety, you'll play a critical role in implementing, supervising, and optimizing EHS programs for our site in Visp, Switzerland. Your focus will be on process safety management, ensuring compliance with global and international standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and continuously improving the EHS process safety management system
* Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and international standards related to process safety
* Collaborating closely with EHS functions at Visp to implement EHS concepts and programs
* Selecting, training, and supporting the use of tools and data systems for EHS process safety
* Handling external process safety consultants and acting as the Lonza counterpart for process safety lab services
* Conducting plant walk-throughs, short audits, and inspections, and driving the development of dashboards and performance monitoring systems for process safety
You'll need a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent, along with proven work experience within the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Bio-manufacturing industry. A strong understanding of Biopharma manufacturing (safety aspects) and proficiency in German and English are also essential.
