The role of Principal Engagement Manager is a critical position that involves overseeing the delivery of complex projects and ensuring their successful completion.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the project team to drive the overall vision and direction, fostering collaboration and effective decision-making among stakeholders.
* Work closely with the sales account team, partners, and customers to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Apply expertise from industry best practices to promote the delivery of high-quality results, driving customer satisfaction and long-term success.
* Establish governance structures to manage requirements, scope, schedule, cost, and business objectives, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
* Develop and execute proactive risk assessment, prevention, and mitigation plans, as well as identify, track, and resolve issues efficiently.
* Mentor team members to achieve project deliverables and promote desired outcomes, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Identify gaps between actuals and plan of record, proposing solutions and driving resolutions to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
* Experience in leveraging AI to enhance work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving is essential, including using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
* Implementing or operating the ServiceNow platform and holding relevant certifications is required.
* At least 8 years of progressive experience in a professional services organization or equivalent experience.
* Ability to travel up to 50%.
* Excellent communication skills in both English and German languages are mandatory.
* Project Management certification in PMI or similar is necessary.
* Agile Scrum experience and Scrum Master certification are desirable.
* Comfortable leading projects independently.
* Good understanding of technology.
* Proven success in driving complex issues through analysis and resolution.
* A growth mindset and willingness to learn new things independently and at pace.
