Another Planet also includes bArtist Management /b and Special Events divisions. /p pbAudio Engineer | CH24 /b /ppbJob Title: /bAudio Engineer /ppbStatus: /b $29.50 – $33.50 per hour, Part Time/Seasonal (non-exempt) – commensurate with experience /ppbReports to: /bAPE Director of Production and Channel 24 Production Manager /ppbLocation: Sacramento, CA /b /ppbResponsibilities Qualifications /b /pulliPerform load in and out of tour production gear and equipment /liliSetup and breakdown band and event equipment including but not limited to touring backline, stands, microphones, cables, monitors, risers, etc. /liliEnsure all audio equipment is functioning properly before and after each event, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues /liliProgram and operate the foh mixing console and/or monitor console for soundcheck and shows. /liliCreate a cordial, cooperative, and welcoming environment for artists and tours. /liliEnsure audio needs for special and private events are met /liliCommunicate with touring audio techs to answer their technical questions and facilitate their needs. /liliConduct regular inspections, and maintenance on audio equipment, including cabling and control systems. Keep track of audio inventory. /liliAttend production meetings, tech notes, and other meetings as needed by Production and requested by Management. /liliWhen requested, participate in advance walk-throughs and surveys. /li /ulpbSkills / Experience /b /pulli4-6 years experience as an audio engineer either with a touring production, venue stage production team, or staff engineer for an audio vendor /liliFamiliarity with Avid Venue, Yamaha DM/Rivage series mixing consoles is a plus. /liliDante Certification Level 2 minimum /liliExperience with networking infrastructure over ethernet and fiber. /liliExperience with complex analog and digital patching infrastructure. Must have knowledge of Dante, AVB, and Milan networking. /liliExperience with wireless audio and microphone systems.
