We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – SAP FICO to support the optimisation of Corporate Center financial processes, with a particular focus on the financial closing cycle.
This role is responsible for reviewing and improving finance processes, systems, and data flows to reduce manual effort, increase automation, and enable AI-driven efficiencies. The successful candidate will analyse current workflows, assess data sources, and define technical and process improvements to help build a more efficient and automated corporate closing environment.
The position involves close collaboration with Finance, IT, Data, and AI/Automation teams, supporting initiatives related to process redesign, data management improvements, and automation implementation.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with Corporate Center finance stakeholders to analyse and improve financial closing processes.
* Map existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation and AI adoption.
* Assess available data sources, system capabilities, and reporting structures.
* Define and document technical requirements and process improvement specifications.
* Collaborate with IT, data, AI, and delivery teams to implement improvements.
* Support process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives within Corporate Finance.
* Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to senior management and key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in finance or enterprise systems environments.
* Strong technical understanding of SAP FICO and group reporting processes.
* Experience analysing and optimising financial closing processes.
* Proven ability to identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
* Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
