Analytical Validation Scientist (Authentifield)
We are seeking an Analytical Validation Scientist (Authentifield) to strengthen our client's global pharmaceutical intelligence and anti‑falsified medicines program. This highly technical role ensures the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our chemometric models and analytical workflows that support the detection of falsified medicines and protection of patient safety.
Reporting to the Director of PharmINT & Forensics, you will validate models, review field test results, support laboratory experiments, and conduct advanced data analysis using Jupyter Notebook and Python. You will collaborate closely across the PharmINT ecosystem to maintain the highest standards of scientific rigor, compliance, and operational excellence.
Main responsibilities
* Design, execute, and document validation protocols; analyze results; improve methodologies for enhanced accuracy and robustness.
* Evaluate results from Authentifield sensors, identify issues, and provide recommendations; prepare clear reports for stakeholders.
* Assist in planning and executing laboratory tests; maintain precise experimental records; provide technical guidance when needed.
* Use Jupyter Notebook and Python to handle large datasets, visualize trends, generate insights, and optimize analytical workflows.
* Present findings, recommendations, and technical insights to internal partners and senior management.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU‑Citizenship required.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Data Science, or related field.
* Experience in chemometric model validation and data analysis.
* Proficiency in Python and Jupyter Notebook.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to scientific quality.
* Experience with system integration, project management, or pharmaceutical supply‑chain regulations is an advantage.
* Familiarity with falsified‑medicine detection, data privacy, or security standards is a plus.
