Web3 Institutional Business Development (commission-based)
prePO is an asset provider offering onchain exposure to the top pre-IPO companies. Role highlights: The Web3 Institutional Business Development Manager collaborates with leadership to shape BD strategy, fosters institutional relationships, leads VC fundraising, and manages investor relations to drive growth. This role is purely commission-based (uncapped upside).
Responsibilities
* Institutional Engagement: Forge strong relationships with institutional investors, VCs, and traditional financial institutions
* Fundraising Support: Drive fundraising initiatives to secure strategic investments vital for prePO's growth
* Investor Relations: Manage investor relations, ensuring transparency and effective communication
* Whale and Market Maker Acquisition: Identify and engage high-profile market players to drive liquidity and market adoption
* Big Game Hunting: Pursue and close high-value deals to accelerate growth opportunities
* Relationship Management: Cultivate ongoing relationships with key players in the Web3 ecosystem for future collaborations
* Shape BD Strategy: Develop and execute BD strategies within the DeFi ecosystem
* Leadership Collaboration: Collaborate with prePO's leadership and teams to align on strategic goals
The Ideal Candidate
* Extensive Experience: 5+ years in DeFi and/or TradFi BD, with a track record of closing significant deals
* Robust Network: A strong network in both DeFi and TradFi, with established connections with institutions, venture capital firms, and regulatory bodies
* Fundraising Expertise: Demonstrated leadership in fundraising efforts, securing substantial investments and funding rounds
* Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals and secure partnerships with key market players
* Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and driven by the pursuit of big opportunities
* DeFi Knowledge: A deep, practical understanding of the DeFi landscape, including familiarity with various blockchains, DeFi protocols, and basic on-chain analytics
* Team Values: Embodies prePO's values of integrity, innovation, and collective success, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
