Your tasks * Development detector concept based on pixelized Si detectors for the search of the muon electric dipole moment (muEDM ) at PSI * Participation in data taking and analysis of muEDM measurements * Preparation of talks and manuscripts for conferences and publications Your profile * Master-s degree in physics with high interest in low energy particle physics * Knowledge of numerical methods, i.e. Monte Carlo simulations or python for data analysis * Practical experience in experimental techniques is appreciated (e.g. electronics, detectors, DAQ) * Ability to work independently * Proficient level of English as working language in spoken and written form is mandatory * Knowledge of German or willingness to quickly learn German is a plus We offer Our institution is based on an interdisciplinary, innovative and dynamic collaboration.
