We have assembled a world-class team with a passion for renewable energy innovation and a commitment to developing renewable projects throughout the US. /ppbJob Purpose /b: The Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects to ensure project objectives are accomplished safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role is responsible for leading solar PV, battery energy storage system (BESS), and hybrid projects from late-stage development through commercial operations, either personally or through coordination of internal and external project teams. This is a remote role that requires up to 50% travel to project sites. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliManages the design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out of utility-scale solar, BESS, and hybrid renewable energy projects. /liliDevelops, maintains, and executes detailed project execution plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. /liliEstablishes and manages project budgets and forecasts; coordinates regular cost and cash flow reporting with Accounting and Finance, as well as controlling expenditures within the budget. /liliProvides engineering and technical support to development, permitting, and interconnection activities as required. /liliOversees construction execution, ensuring compliance with construction contracts, environmental regulations, permits, safety requirements, and quality standards. /liliOrganizes and leads project meetings and provides clear status reporting to internal management and external stakeholders. /liliManages execution of interconnection agreement tasks and coordination with utilities, including testing, energization, and achievement of commercial operation. /liliCoordinates with Legal on negotiation and administration of contracts, supply agreements and warranties. /liliSupports construction and financing activities, including lender due diligence and independent engineer reviews. /liliWorks closely with Development to ensure a seamless transition of projects into construction. /liliCoordinates turnover of completed projects to Operations and Asset Management, including documentation, training, and warranty support. /liliOversees Construction Managers, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer and quality personnel assigned to the project and ensures compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. /liliCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. /li /ulh3Minimum Qualifications /h3ulli5 years of experience managing utility-scale renewable energy projects. /liliPrior experience as a Project Manager or Owner’s Representative on renewable energy projects. /liliStrong understanding of construction contracting, project controls, scheduling, and cost management. /liliProven ability to manage multiple projects or project phases simultaneously. /liliStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. /liliAbility to interpret project financial reports and prepare cash flow forecasts. /liliWillingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work on remote project sites. /liliValid driver’s license. /li /ulh3Desired / Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. /liliPMP certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license. /liliBattery Energy Storage System (BESS) and hybrid project experience. /liliElectrical or high-voltage infrastructure experience. /liliFamiliarity with Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) requirements, including domestic content and labor compliance. /li /ulh3Characteristics Necessary for Success /h3ulliCollaborative leadership style and strong ownership mindset. /liliComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment. /liliStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills. /liliHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. /liliIntegrity, accountability, and professionalism. /liliPassion for renewable energy and the energy transition. /li /ulh3Other /h3pApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
