To strengthen our Strategy team, based in Lausanne - Vaud, reporting directly to the CEO, we are looking for a:
Strategic Project Manager
Be at the heart of strategic decision-making.
Our Strategy team tackles the Bank’s most critical and cross-functional initiatives: technological evolution, banking sector transformation, mergers and acquisitions, emerging business models, and responses to financial or geopolitical crises. Every project is an opportunity to deliver lasting, high-impact outcomes for the Bank and the region.
The team is designed as a talent incubator, offering broad exposure to BCV’s businesses and creating a solid foundation for long-term career development within the Group.
What you’ll do:
* Lead strategic initiatives for the Executive Board and Board of Directors
* Contribute to defining the Group’s strategy and those of its key business units
* Support front-line and support divisions in the successful delivery of major projects
* Recommend best practices in strategic planning and organizational design
* Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and key industry developments to inform strategic priorities
What you bring:
* Master’s degree from a leading institution (e.g., EPFL, ETH Zurich, top-tier business or engineering school)
* 5+ years of experience in strategy or transformation consulting, with a strong track record in managing complex, cross-functional projects
* In-depth knowledge of the banking sector, either from internal experience or advisory roles
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complexity and deliver actionable insights
* Excellent communication skills and ease interacting with senior stakeholders
* Fluency in French and English; German is a plus
* Have a direct impact on the strategic direction of one of Switzerland’s top banks
* Work closely with executive leadership in a collaborative, high-performance environment
