Project Lead Engineer in e-Mobility 80 – 100% (f/m/d)
Join our dynamic Engineering team as a Project Lead Engineer and take charge of leading the execution and tendering of innovative eMobility electric power supply infrastructure projects, including DC charging solutions for electric buses. You will develop technical solutions, oversee engineering efforts across MV & LV distribution systems, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading technical execution and tendering of eMobility electrical infrastructure projects such as bus depots and charging stations.
* Managing all engineering activities from concept to commissioning.
* Collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Supervising remote engineering teams.
* Designing power supply architectures, performing sizing calculations, and preparing specifications.
* Evaluating supplier offers and supporting procurement.
* Providing technical expertise during project phases.
* Translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
* Leading technical discussions, resolving site queries, and ensuring quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, focusing on Power Electronics or Power Systems.
* 7–10 years of experience in MV/LV power distribution and electrical systems design.
* Experience with DC power supply systems, power converters, energy storage, or harmonic filtering is advantageous.
* Proficiency with engineering tools like BIM, CAD, ETAP, MathCAD.
* Proactive, results-oriented, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Willing to travel up to 10%.
* Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
