Key tasks
* We are seeking an experienced Head of Production Engineering to lead all production engineering services and act as a senior engineering leader within Poland. The role combines technical authority, people leadership and strategic direction, ensuring that production engineering capabilities support both current operational excellence and future business needs. The position involves work across 2 manufacturing plants (Nawojowa Góra and Pisary).
* Partner closely with R&D to embed Design for Excellence (DfX) principles into new product designs.
* Lead the industrialisation and transfer of new products into volume production.
* Drive continuous improvement to enhance yield, quality, cost and robustness of existing products.
* Ensure availability, reliability and safety of all production equipment and automation systems.
* Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies aligned with business needs.
* Define and deliver the automation roadmap to improve yield, throughput and capacity.
* Introduce new automation technologies and optimise existing systems for scalable growth.
* Lead cross‑functional engineering teams to resolve production issues.
* Drive structured root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce time, cost and variability.
* Oversee development and upkeep of production test solutions, including custom jigs and LabVIEW‑based software, ensuring accuracy, repeatability and long‑term maintainability.
* Act as a key interface between Engineering, Operations, R&D, Quality and global functions.
* Build strong, trust‑based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Represent Production Engineering in senior forums and contribute to site and business strategy.
Your profile
* Technical higher education.
* Extensive experience in production or manufacturing engineering within high‑volume, high‑technology environments.
* Significant experience in senior manufacturing or production engineering leadership roles.
* Track record of successfully introducing new technologies and processes in fast‑paced environments.
* Strong understanding of process engineering, automation systems and maintenance best practices.
* Broad engineering knowledge across systems, electronic and mechanical engineering, including production test solutions.
* Solid practical experience with lean manufacturing, defect reduction and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
* Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
* Demonstrated ability to inspire, influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on problem solving and data‑driven decision making.
* Fluent in Polish and English.
