For our client, a global natural resource company, we are looking for a Corporate/M&A Lawyer for a maternity coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility for corporate legal matters and housekeeping, including maintenance of legal entities, board documentation, governance topics, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
Hands‑on involvement in due diligence processes and M&A transactions, including reviewing documentation, identifying legal risks, supporting negotiations, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively partner with business teams, senior management, and external advisors, providing clear, pragmatic and solution‑oriented legal guidance
Ability to prioritise multiple topics in a dynamic environment, balancing legal risk with business objectives
Proactive and structured working style, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and business impact
Experience & Qualifications
Strong experience in Corporate Law and M&A, including drafting and negotiating transactions, supporting deals end‑to‑end, and advising on general corporate matters
Bar admission preferred, ideally with an international background or exposure to cross‑border legal frameworks
Fluency in English is required, with German considered a strong advantage
Proven ability to operate in an international, fast‑paced business environment
Commercial and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to translate legal complexity into practical business solutions
