Business Development/Sales Manager (f/m/x) (100%)
Our client is a distributor and service provider for the Global Pharma and Nutrition industries. They operate at global level and are headquartered in Switzerland. To reinforce and grow their presence in the DACH region, they are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager for Pharma products to be based in Zurich.
Responsibilities
* Manage purchases and sales of API’s (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) in the DACH region
* Maintain, foster and develop the relationship with current customers
* Personally visit clients as agreed with the head of the department
* This is an independent role with focus on Business Development and Sales activities, without leadership responsibilities
* Maintain contact with new or potential clients in the areas of procurement, research and development, marketing and/or other related departments
* Analyse sales and profits of your operations/markets
* Acquisition of new clients in the market the three markets Germany, Switzerland and Austria
* Continuously observe the markets in connection with the competitiveness analysis
* Prepare a market penetration plan in the range between 1 and 3 years
Technical qualifications
* Completed degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, natural sciences or a comparable qualification
* Solid pharmaceutical sales experience in the DACH region, with good knowledge of regulatory requirements
* Fluent business German and English is a must, other European languages are of advantage
* Experience in working with ERP and Microsoft Office Package
* Availability to travel and visit clients in the DACH region (up to approximately 40%)
* Experience in foreign trade operations and export documentation is an advantage
