Responsibilities
1. Lead a multidisciplinary research team, fostering the creation of new research project proposals and strategic research initiatives
2. Recruit new employees, coach team members to support their professional development
3. Contribute to research projects and pre-studies with your own research expertise
4. Build relationships within the company to relevant business units and leading universities. Contribute to an innovative and motivating working environment within the Central European Research Center, and with all Hitachi Energy Research Centers
5. Ensure dissemination of your team's results scientific publications, patent applications, and technical reports
Requirements
6. PhD degree in physics, engineering, or a relevant field with professional experience in industrial research environment.
7. Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
8. Collaborative, team-oriented and innovative personality as well as solution-oriented working style
9. Curiosity and enthusiasm to work on technologies that enable the global energy transition, and interest in a future career path within Hitachi Energy globally.
10. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
