PR & Social Media Manager Strellson
In this exciting and varied position, you will be equally responsible for the strategic development of social media channels and PR work for the Strellson brand. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and make a significant contribution to holistic brand communication across digital channels, media, and collaborations.
Your responsibilities
Social Media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, X)
Developing and refining Strellson's social media strategy in close consultation with the Head of Marketing
Planning and maintaining the social media editorial plan in consultation with other departments
Planning, coordinating, and publishing social media content for all channels (feeds, stories, etc., including captions) in collaboration with internal and external content creators, photographers, and agencies
Organizing and managing social media collaborations for Instagram and TikTok in accordance with the marketing theme plan (including shipping of goods)
Designing and implementing competitions and challenges in collaboration with external partners
Managing and coordinating external agencies in the area of social media advertising
Maintaining the influencer distribution list and developing, implementing, and managing influencer collaborations
Creating regular reports on the performance of social media channels, including evaluation of larger projects and collaborations
Daily community management, including message and complaint management
Invoice approvals via SAP and cost center responsibility
Press Relations
Writing press releases on collections, new products, and brand-related topics
Actively positioning the Strellson brand in relevant trade and lifestyle media
Maintaining ongoing communication with the press regarding collections, sample requests, and licensing issues
Management and coordination of the PR agency network (DACH, Netherlands, etc.)
Development and implementation of seasonal PR topic planning in coordination with marketing, social media, and collection cycles
Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of PR activities, including clippings, as well as derivation of learnings and recommendations for action
Media
Media planning and ad placement (print, OOH) in consultation with the Head of Marketing
Required experience and skills
Completed training or degree in business administration, fashion management, communication sciences, marketing, or public relations
Initial to several years of professional experience in social media and/or PR, ideally in the fashion, textile, or clothing industry, in the beauty, lifestyle, or PR agency environment
In-depth understanding of brand communication, media relations, influencer relations, and press relations
Strong interest in digital trends, social media, and relevant topics in the PR and media environment
Confident sense of tone, storytelling, and target group-oriented communication in social media and PR
Experience in managing and coordinating content production, agencies, and creators; no operational content production required
Strong team spirit and excellent communication and organizational skills in dealing with internal interfaces, agencies, and media partners
Independent, structured way of working, assertiveness, and experience in dealing with external service providers and PR partners
Very good written and verbal communication skills in German and English
Confident use of common MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.); experience with PR or social media tools is an advantage
