Ph3About the Role /h3pSr. System Software Engineer responsible for developing digital tools supporting Medtronic Operations. Global role reporting to Digital Performance Management Director. Location: Tolochenaz, Switzerland. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead development of Digital Performance Management tools such as OEE, KPI dashboards, Production Tracker, LiveLink platform. /liliCollect data from automated equipment controllers, operator interfaces, MES, SPC. /liliAct as SME and liaison with IT and stakeholders. /liliManage the application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, support). /liliCollaborate with cross‑functional teams on design requirements. /liliGenerate policies, standards, and procedures for systems software engineering. /liliEnsure compliance with FDA regulations and internal quality policies. /liliCommunicate status updates and impact of timeline delays to management. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent; or advanced degree with 2 years relevant experience. /liliMinimum 4 years of relevant experience (or 2 years with an advanced degree). /liliStrong understanding of backend technologies (.NET Core, Python, C#). /liliExperience with SQL and data modeling. /liliKnowledge of industry 4.0 technologies (IIoT sensors, PLC programming). /liliProficiency in Python. /liliFrench and English fluency. /liliStrong problem‑solving, analytical, written, and oral communication skills. /liliAbility to travel across EMEA (~20%). /li /ulh3Compensation and Benefits /h3pCompetitive salary and flexible benefits package.
