Role Overview
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a key technical role in high‑impact data science and AI/ML initiatives. You will lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end solutions that turn complex business challenges into scalable, production‑ready AI systems.
Responsibilities
* Lead end‑to‑end AI and data science projects, from understanding business needs to delivering robust solutions
* Analyze, model and interpret complex datasets, and clearly communicate insights and results to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* Design and optimise machine learning models tailored to real‑world business problems
* Build reliable data pipelines to transform raw data into high‑quality inputs for training and inference
* Design, maintain and continuously improve MLOps pipelines for automated training, deployment and monitoring
* Work closely with interdisciplinary IT, engineering and business teams
* Share your expertise by mentoring junior data scientists and contributing to technical best practices
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in AI, data science or machine learning engineering
* Degree from a technical university
* Strong programming skills in Python and hands‑on experience with modern ML frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
* Solid understanding of data analysis, MLOps practices and production‑grade ML systems
* Good knowledge of software engineering fundamentals (Linux/Windows, Git, APIs, data storage)
* Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies is a plus
* Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously
* Excellent communication skills and fluency in French and English
* Willingness to travel within Romandie
