Within the SWISS Technical Division, the Base Maintenance Execution department oversees all third-party-provided base maintenance services for airframes. These events are being held at various locations within Europe but also overseas.

Tasks
As a MRO Material Coordinator you cover the crucial role, ensuring that required materials for base maintenance events are supplied on time to the respective base maintenance provider, enabling the aircraft is being dispatched promptly.
Coordinate all required materials with the Base Maintenance providers and stakeholders to ensure on-time supplies
Pre-load materials to be supplied per contracts, including relevant AMOS updates
Purchase and ensure timely supply of spare parts, including pooled materials
Monitor goods receipt, label booking and part installations in AMOS
Oversee transfers, receipts and returns per contractual obligations
Communicate material status with any stakeholders involved
Verify invoice accuracy with accounting
Improve supply chain methods for Base Maintenance events
Travel to Base Maintenance providers as needed to ensure material flow

Requirements
Commercial apprenticeship (‘KV’) or technical apprenticeship with commercial training (‘Handelsschule’ or ‘Technischer Kaufmann’) required
More than 5 years of working experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain
Working experience in the airline / MRO industry is an advantage
AMOS experience is an advantage
Technical understanding and high affinity of technical environment
Advanced English knowledge (written and spoken), German knowledge is an advantage
Ability to manage stressful situations and conflicts, with a problem solving attitude
Self-driven personality with good communication skills
Willingness to work flexible hours (weekends included) and to travel for shorter or longer periods (up to 50% of total working time)
