To continue this successful journey, ELCA is looking to temporarily strengthen its organization and expertise in strategic marketing. The Strategic Marketing Intern will report directly to the CMO and support him in the Group's annual strategic planning process, as well as in assessing potential business opportunities. Given the importance of this role, the company's ambitious growth plans, and the dynamic environment, the ideal candidate should be ready to learn quickly and adapt fast. A good understanding of the IT industry, strategic planning, and marketing strategy is a strong asset.
Role
* Conduct market analyses: estimate demand (market size), supply (capacity), and their expected evolution. Identify segments, ecosystems, and market shares of competitors; analyze industry trends; and assess the addressable market.
* Perform benchmarking: identify key competitors, analyze and compare their positioning, offerings, customer portfolios, and financial performance.
Develop and describe business plans, options, and scenarios.
Responsibilities
* Independently analyze ELCA's relevant markets and summarize results in high-quality presentations.
* Identify 10 to 20 of ELCA's most important competitors, analyze them, and create detailed competitor profiles.
* Compare competitors, highlight their strengths and weaknesses, and derive ELCA's opportunities and threats.
* Identify key industry trends and draw implications for ELCA's strategy.
* Coordinate work with other teams, such as finance.
Ensure timely collection of input from other workstreams.
Skills and Qualifications
* Student (ideally Master's level)
* Solid understanding of strategic marketing and strategic planning.
* Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
* Problem-solving mindset.
* Affinity with, or good understanding of, the IT sector.
* Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience : Previous internships in strategic planning, strategic marketing, or business development.
Industry background: Knowledge of high-tech, IT, or similar sectors.
