About the Role
Position: Account Executive within the SAP Academy for Customer Success (a global development program for early‑career talent)
Responsibilities
Successfully complete a 10‑month learn‑apply program, including classroom and field phases with the sales team.
Immerse yourself in multi‑dimensional experiential learning focusing on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process.
Drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption, ongoing renewals, and account expansion.
Receive onboarding in your local market with on‑the‑job training and mentoring by a Senior Account Executive; work both behind the scenes and directly with customers.
SSE Focus Areas
SAP Finance & Spend Management – accounting, procurement, supplier management.
SAP SuccessFactors – HR and payroll, talent management, employee experience, HR analytics, workforce planning.
SAP Supply Chain Management – supply chain, asset management, manufacturing, logistics, product lifecycle.
SAP Customer Experience – e‑commerce, sales, customer service, marketing processes.
SAP Business Transformation Management – business process management/automation.
SAP Business Technology Platform & SAP Business Data Cloud – data management, analytics, application development, integration, intelligent technologies, AI.
Qualifications
2–3 years of professional experience in a quota‑carrying sales environment in a technology company, or experience with significant exposure to business processes.
Experience generating opportunities, qualifying leads, managing sales pipelines across a defined territory, and building customer relationships.
A cooperative and productive approach to working relationships, internally and externally.
Strong ability to learn new concepts quickly, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results.
Understanding of AI fundamentals, use cases, and ethics.
Resilient mindset, optimism, and a drive for growth and success.
Strong business acumen and demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries.
Proficiency in English to engage with our global network.
