DDIS Purchasing Manager
Start date: As soon as possible
Within the Fire Defence and Rescue Division (DDIS), you will manage acquisition projects for vehicles, equipment, IT solutions, and service contracts. You will oversee tender procedures, from needs analysis to award, in compliance with the legal framework and current directives.
You will also monitor suppliers, manage contracts, and coordinate relationships with external partners. In this role, you will contribute to cost optimisation, performance monitoring, and securing supplies.
Your role will require close collaboration with technical specialists, the legal department, the company’s purchasing team, and numerous internal and external partners.
Your profile
You hold a federal diploma as a specialist in purchasing and supply or a higher education degree in management, economics, or law. Training/certification in Swiss public procurement management is an advantage.
You have at least 5 years of proven experience in purchasing, including at least 3 years in managing public contracts in Switzerland. You also have confirmed experience in project management.
Additionally, experience in acquiring special vehicles and heavy machinery is a plus, as is prior knowledge of the firefighter environment.
You possess strong negotiation skills, cost analysis abilities, and supplier management expertise. Comfortable with IT tools and ERP systems, you know how to utilise data and build the indicators necessary to manage your activities.
