VANS is looking for an exceptional Associate Digital Planner (Fixed Term - Maternity Cover) to join our team based in Stabio, Switzerland.
About The Role
Creating and managing seasonal merchandise plans utilizing history, sales trends and market information to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory levels for your areas of responsibility.
Partnering with Merchandising to select and quantify the assortment for a specific category within the Digital area.
Driving the Category Open-To-Buy process for EMEA websites & marketplaces by identifying, flagging, and managing risks and opportunities to meet or exceed goals.
Building strong cross department/channel partnership inside the Planning Team to ensure alignment on DTC strategy and inventory levels and forecast.
Conducting continual regular business analysis, both planned and ad hoc.
Managing assigned weekly/monthly merchandise reports, and develop new ones as needed.
In addition to the regular planning activities, it may also assist or lead on a variety of other special projects that move our process and business forward.
Skills For Success
* Experience: A few years' experience as merchandise planner or similar role in a brand
* Education: Bachelor's degree
* Language skills: fluent in English. Other languages will be a plus.
* Proven experience in merchandise planning in a multi-unit national chain
* Strong analytical skills including the ability to read, analyze and interpret general retail reports
* Advanced strong computer skills to include Excel, Email and other relevant Retail applications
