About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team and take on the challenge of redeveloping a critical internal application, the Cash Management Tool.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reimplement the tool from scratch using modern technologies, including Angular for the frontend and Java for the backend.
* Improve usability, performance, and maintainability while gaining a functional understanding of cash forecasting and liquidity monitoring in private banking.
* Design and develop both the user interface with intuitive visualizations and drill-down capabilities, as well as the backend services handling data aggregation, forecasting logic, and integration with internal systems.
* Contribute to the integration of the tool into our next-generation GX Wealth Management platform, working within an Agile/Scrum methodology team.
Requirements:
* Masters student or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Strong interest in Financial Services and Banking Operations.
* Proficiency in Java, web development, Angular, Spring Boot, and MongoDB.
* Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
* Good communication and collaboration skills.
* Fluent in English (French is a plus).
