Chef de Partie – La Ferme & Fee Chäller, Hotel Beau-Site (Saas-Fee)
We are looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade of La Ferme and Fee Chäller, two distinctive dining destinations within the iconic Hotel Beau-Site in Saas-Fee. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a reimagined alpine property, combining craftsmanship, local identity, and contemporary hospitality in the heart of the Valais region.
As Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of a specific kitchen section, ensuring consistency, precision, and quality in every dish prepared. Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will contribute to menu execution, mise-en-place organization, and the smooth running of service while upholding the highest culinary and hygiene standards.
Your Responsibilities
· Manage and organize your assigned section efficiently during mise-en-place and service.
· Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
· Ensure all mise-en-place is completed on time and maintained throughout service.
· Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety at all times.
· Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily operations and team coordination.
· Assist in training and mentoring commis chefs and apprentices within your section.
· Contribute ideas for menu development, seasonal specials, and product sourcing.
· Monitor portion control and minimize food waste in line with cost control goals.
· Participate in daily briefings, tastings, and quality checks to maintain consistency.
· Ensure full adherence to HACCP, hygiene, and safety regulations.
About You
· Minimum 3–5 years of professional kitchen experience, ideally in a quality restaurant or hotel.
· Employees who have completed a two-year initial vocational training program and hold a federal certificate or an equivalent qualification.
· Solid technical foundation in European and bistronomic cuisine
· Passionate about fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients.
· A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
· Reliable, disciplined, and able to maintain high standards under pressure.
· Fluent in English or German; French is a strong asset.
· Holds a relevant culinary qualification or apprenticeship diploma.
