Temporary Chemical Engineer – 8 months, Mezzovico, Ticino, Switzerland
Responsibilities
Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
Study operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine worker functions and responsibilities.
Formulate complex sampling procedures and design special or ad-hoc forms and instructions for nonstandard recording, evaluating, and reporting.
Apply advanced statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
Apply verbal and written communication skills in periodic and special reports and presentations both internally and with customers.
Perform analytical problem-solving and utilize structured decision-making skills.
Qualifications & Profile
Engineering degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, chemistry, or automation.
Knowledge of surface treatments such as anodizing, electropolishing, tumbling, blasting (plus).
Strong oral communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
Ability to work with a multi-skilled team.
Fluent in Italian and English; German preferred.
Experience with MS Office, SAP, Agile, and Windchill is plus.
