This Position reports to: Business Line Manager, Medium Voltage Drives - MOSE.
Your Role And Responsibilities
As Portfolio Manager, you will facilitate sustainable industrial transformation by creating and implementing a strategic offering roadmap aligned with the Medium Voltage Drives Services business line. You will own the service portfolio, leveraging ABB’s digital technologies and technical know-how to improve productivity, safety, and customer value.
You are joining at a pivotal moment in our transformation journey with evolving environments, new factory setups, and product innovations requiring extensive product knowledge and flexibility in navigating change. As a key member of the Product Management organization, you will facilitate change with innovative ideas, insight, and a deep understanding of ABB’s Medium Voltage domain.
The work model for the role is: hybrid.
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Leading and developing a team of product managers while enabling them through training, marketing and sales materials, and processes to ensure alignment across portfolios, regions, and divisions on both local and global scales.
* Defining and executing the offering and solution portfolio strategy, including product positioning, ways of working, and change management with the aim of leveraging technical product knowledge, pricing strategy, and business potential to support effective product launches.
* Creating and managing offering portfolios across the ABB MVD portfolio, positioning customer value creation elements to unlock value for both ABB and its customers, while also handling operational product management functions such as product cost files, cost development, and manufacturing vision.
* Collaborating and coordinating with global product managers and stakeholders to maintain portfolio vitality, optimize time-to-market, support lifecycle management, develop market size estimations, pricing strategies and methods, track product management KPIs, and establish enhanced offerings like guaranteed operational uptime, service level agreements, and recurring revenue streams.
Qualifications For The Role
* You hold a degree in engineering (or equivalent) with considerable experience in developing portfolios and transforming industries.
* You are immersed in product portfolio strategy, change management methodologies, and drives market.
* You have established skills in technical product management, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution, with over 5 years of experience in service and solution development.
* You are highly adept in CRM platforms, lifecycle management tools, and ABB digital technologies (Salesforce).
* You are committed to leading global, cross-functional teams, navigating complex change environments, and supporting customer-centric innovation.
* You are motivated by leading people, showing a proven track record of people leadership, talent development, working culture improvement, etc.
* You are proficient in communicating in English, with effective stakeholder engagement across global and local teams.
