Role Purpose
The Power BI Intern will design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards based on defined business specifications. The role focuses on transforming enterprise data into clear, reliable, and decision‑relevant reports supporting CAPEX management and OPS strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for:
Single Project Dashboard (CAPEX)
Project Portfolio Dashboard (CAPEX)
CAPEX Forecast Dashboard
OPS Strategy Dashboard
Implement KPIs, financial views, strategic metrics, timelines, and drill‑down functionalities according to specifications
Create visualizations for budgets, actuals, forecasts, commitments, cash‑out, milestones, and OPS strategic KPIs
Ensure correct use of filters, slicers, traffic‑light indicators, and monthly/periodic comparisons
Independently translate written business and strategy specifications into functional Power BI reports
Validate report logic and results together with Finance, OPS, and business stakeholders
Document report structure, calculations, and assumptions
Scope & Interfaces
Data connections and the D365 data model are supported by the Analytics Team
The intern is responsible for end‑to‑end report development in Power BI, based on the provided specifications
Close collaboration with Finance, Operations (OPS), Project Management, and Analytics teams
Qualifications
Good basic knowledge ofPower BI (visuals, measures, drill‑downs, filters)
Interest in financial and strategic reporting; understanding of CAPEX and OPS KPIs is an advantage
Structured, independent, and detail‑oriented working style
Ability to work reliably with predefined requirements and specifications
Hands‑on experience with CAPEX and OPS strategy reporting in an enterprise environment
Exposure to D365‑based analytics ecosystems
Practical experience in translating business and strategy requirements into BI solutions
