Marketing Manager
Your Aim
The Marketing Manager position will have responsibility for the marketing strategy, development and execution within the General Industry Business Unit. This role will be responsible for delivering significant transformational initiatives within the Business Unit and acts in close collaboration with the Corporate Maketing department. The focus will be on promoting our proposition through digital channels and in driving digital marketing initiatives in order to win more new customers for the organisation.
The ideal candidate in this high impact position will be a marketing communications professional with a proven track record in developing and executing digital marketing initiatives. In addition to bringing a deep proficiency in digital marketing the ideal candidate will be a highly energetic, business and cross-functional collaborator who is familiar in partnering closely with sales, CRM, IT, product and category management.
Your Responsibilities
1. Working together with product/category management and sales, contribute actively to the crystallisation of the precise offer and proposition of the General Industry Business Unit
2. Contribute to the definition of key target market segments that we can access through digital marketing channels
3. Together with Corporate Marketing, develop an overarching marketing strategy for the GI Business Unit, taking into account all channels and then focusing resource where we believe the highest returns exist
4. Be responsible for the maintenance and further development of the website in line with best practice and new technologies
5. Drive digital marketing activities in order to promote the company and our products, managing various channels and using techniques and tools such as PPC, SEM, SEO, social media, email and display marketing in order to drive a cohesive and persuasive message to our target audience
6. Be responsible for the marketing budget, the allocation of this budget and the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns
7. Implement and analyze performance metrics and provide internal reports on a regular basis
8. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against our goals (ROI, agreed KPIs)
9. Brainstorm and implement new and creative strategies through our digital marketing channel
10. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience
11. Be the champion of the customer experience upon their first contact with the company
12. Collaborate with agencies and other partners as necessary
Key Success Factors
13. Drive traffic to the website from our chosen target market segments and drive the conversion rates by optimising user experience
14. Increase overall lead generation, enquiries and quotation requests from our target markets
15. New customer acquisition and revenue born within our digital channels
16. Increasing the active customer count within the General Industry BU and drive customer loyalty
17. Cross-sales of our products and capabilities within our newly acquired customer base
Your Profile
18. Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration or another relevant field
19. Minimum 6 years experience in marketing roles
20. Experience in driving change management
21. Track record of delivering market share gain within organisations driven by exceptional results from marketing initiatives
22. Self-confident and a can do attitude, with excellent analytical skills
23. Make decisions based on data
24. High level of communication skills and empathy
