Our mission is to create the world's first fully functioning language based on icons to improve written communication by adding visual meanings.

You believe that the world can be a better place and are ready to commit and push through walls to turn your beliefs into reality. Pioneering the adoption of a new communication system is ambitious. You understand this and are resilient.
About us
We're a team of over 30 volunteers working across multiple disciplines from linguistics to design, from business development and marketing to product development. We are open and respectful and work remotely and mostly asynchronously. Accountability is key for us and so is teamwork.
About the role
KomunIKON offers you the opportunity to join the team by dealing with the management of the whole project. You will be responsible for following the 5 different teams, coordinating crossteam communication and tasks. All the tasks that will be entrusted to you will not require any travel on your part, as they can be done directly from your home. The KomunIKON team is also composed of collaborators living outside of Switzerland, and depending on the workgroup, we have meetings in different languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Esperanto, and English), so it is a good opportunity to practice the languages you are studying.
Missions
* Participate in meetings of each team
* Understand the different parts of our articulated project
* Assure communication between different teams
* Propose improvements in the management of the project
* Help manage new candidates (CVs, interviews, etc.)
* Lead the organization of our virtual parties and team building events
Your profile
* Good communication skills
* Openness and resistance to stress
* Good organizational skills
* Fluency in English and any other languages are welcome.
* Self-motivated
* Availability of a 5-10 hours per week
Technical knowledge
* Basic understanding of IT systems, software development life cycles (SDLC), and Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
* Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
* Comfortable with MS Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams).
Experience:
* 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management support, or a similar IT administrative role.
* Proven experience assisting in software development, IT infrastructure, or digital transformation projects.
