Are you interested in Cyber Security? Do you have experience and willing to continuously expand your knowledge on how to defend an enterprise against cyber-attacks? Do you have the right can-do attitude and are eager to join the Cyber Security Operations Center team?
We are looking for a Cyber Security QA Specialist who will:
* Run Cyber Security Operations Center QA program
* Able to operate by setting an example - understanding of cyber security operations across different disciplines, able to perform end to end analysis and investigation
* Uphold UBS’ high quality standard of Cyber Security Alerts, ensure completeness, accuracy and adherence to baseline.
* Maintain, update, and improve processes, playbooks and runbooks to ensure they are relevant to the latest threats.
* Identify areas for improvement, both individually and from the team perspective. actively contribute and coordinate them.
* Analyze Use Cases and signatures; identify and document trends, look for opportunities to improve detection and its' efficiency
* Drive improvements, initiatives and broader projects in Cyber Security Operations space, cyber detection and mitigation capabilities
Your team
You'll be working in the Cyber Security Operations Center team which is the backbone of the wider Cyber Defense function and is located in Zurich. You will be exposed to peer cyber and information security functions and will support day to day activities of cyber monitoring and response, hunting and detection engineering. We are a global team with presence in Switzerland, USA and Singapore focusing on pro-active defense capabilities supported by active intelligence consumption.
Your expertise
You have:
– Knowledge of technologies and concepts such as SIEM, EDR, AD, Cloud, Networking, RegEx, Correlation rules, Windows/Linux and associated protocols and tools
– Ability to analyze and investigate various logs
– Experience and reasonable understanding of IT security and Cyber threats
– Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
– Positive attitude and interest in learning new skills
– Possession of at least one of the industry recognized cyber security certifications (CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, SANS GIAC) would be a huge benefit
