The role will be responsible for working on the data sourcing workstream.
Perform in-depth and complex data analysis and problem solving.
Understand the end-to-end architecture for each project and assess the impact of scope changes.
Document detailed business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and process improvements.
Develop test plans, conditions, and scripts for system releases, and conduct functional and user acceptance testing.
Complete tasks on time according to the project plan and schedule.
Manage issues and risks on projects, communicate concerns, and propose resolutions.
Analyze various process and technology options thoroughly.
Leverage operational and technical knowledge to automate processes as needed.
Conduct root cause analysis for issues related to data or business requirements, follow up with stakeholders, develop solutions, and facilitate consensus.
You Offer Education and Professional Skills Required:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related technical field.
Specialization in finance or accounting, particularly in financial and regulatory reporting.
Work Experience Critical:
At least 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience in Financial Services, especially in business analysis roles.
Proven track record of process and system improvement initiatives.
Technical/Business Knowledge Vital:
Ability to perform detailed and advanced data analysis and problem solving.
History of managing complex projects in financial institutions such as investment banks.
Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement.
Strong understanding of financial products, service features, and end-to-end lifecycle processes, including subledger and ledger postings.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent teamwork, enthusiasm, confidence, and dedication.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to accurately capture and convey user requirements to IT teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Visio, and familiar with relational database structures.
