Role Overview
Are you ready to shape the future as Regional Category Manager at Carlsberg? We are seeking a Category Manager Logistics Procurement (T&D), to support logistics (T&D) commercial processes including tendering in Western Europe in accordance with the Group Category Logistics strategy
What You'll Be Doing
1. Manage and control the expenditure through policies and suppliers.
2. Stakeholder management on an on-going daily basis
3. Preparation and support of RFx
4. Understanding local business requirements and supply markets, coordinating cross-border implementation, and providing input to category strategy
5. Category analytics and database management
6. Support budget process through deep cost structure understanding.
7. Co-ordinate and run Supplier Performance reviews were setting and delivering clear value improvement agenda with suppliers / stakeholders.
8. Participate in, and define and develop, the strategic targets, Category strategy, WOW, processes and business reviews
9. Identify and implement growth opportunities and cost optimization opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce complexity and create transparency
10. Ensure agreed KPI's (e.g. cost reduction, cost avoidance, cash flow improvement, portfolio simplification) are delivered and be part of deciding which projects should be prioritized and rolled out at regional level
11. Ensure contract compliance and adhere to Procurement Policies
12. Take responsibility for specific projects related to the relevant Category
13. Secure sharing of information and best practices with local commercial and procurement teams with category in scope
14. Lead relevant communication to the internal stakeholders
What we're looking for
15. Experience (+ 8 years) in Procurement or Logistics/Supply Chain, FMCG goods, preferable beverages
16. End-to-End Supply Chain / Commercial a plus
17. Candidate with international working experience is preferred
18. Experience in managing and balancing commercial and technical requirements
19. Experienced in internal customer and external supplier relationships
20. Experienced project management
21. Experienced in development and implementation of sourcing strategies
22. Understanding of complex organizational interdependencies
23. Experience with sourcing systems and e-tool solutions preferable, e.g. Keelvar
24. Capable of analysing independently the market, suppliers and alternative possibilities
25. Demonstration of strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to condense complex issues into concise and relevant information.
26. Strong Category Management/ Supplier Management experience, including contract management.
27. Strong experience in tender processes: RFI, RFP and e-auctions
28. Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent IT skills across Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
29. Good negotiation skills, and willing to challenge the status quo.
30. A proven ability to multi-task effectively.
31. Background within either Facilities Management, Supply Chain, Engineering Capex or MRO
32. Good general knowledge of FMCG beverage supply chains

Education:
* Master's degree preferred and or time served experience
Languages:
* Fluent English (spoken and written)
* Other languages will be considered as an advantage
