Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and specify electrical systems for compressor / refrigeration / gas processing packages – including power distribution, motor control, instrumentation, control panels, PLC / SCADA interfaces.
Ensure designs meet relevant international & local codes / standards (safety, EMC, explosion protection if applicable, etc.).
Collaborate with mechanical, process and controls engineers to integrate electrical aspects into full system design.
Support manufacture / assembly / factory acceptance testing (FAT) / site installation / commissioning.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and improve existing systems (upgrades / retrofits) for efficiency, reliability, cost, environmental performance.
Assist in after-sales technical support, resolving field issues, advising clients and ensuring safe, reliable operation.
Maintain documentation, electrical load calculations, cable sizing, thermal management, protection / grounding / earthing designs.
Qualifications & Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience with industrial electrical systems; experience in compressors, refrigeration, gas processing, cryogenics etc a strong plus.
Familiarity with motor control, variable speed drives, power distribution, control panels, PLC / SCADA systems.
Hands-on understanding of installation / commissioning / maintenance.
Knowledge of safety, electrical codes, EMC, grounding / earthing, protection systems.
Strong problem solving, analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Good communication skills – working across disciplines, across borders, possibly travel required.
